The Strategic Planning Lead is required to put the company on a directional course in order to achieve short and long term objectives. The role 1) outlines the mission, vision and objectives, 2) develops strategies, policies and action plans in terms of projects and programs, 3) provides critical strategic guidance which enables the business to develop, adapt and reform commercially through the investigation, interrogation and challenging of issues and scenarios, 4) formulates robust strategic analysis, advice and guidance and, 5) communicates this successfully to the business.

Responsibilities:

 

• Drive thought leadership and create and drive intellectual agenda

• Value add to the overall intellectual and analytical agenda

• Communicating effectively the implications, recommendations and key action items coming out of analysis

• Summarizing the findings in a thematic fashion

• Develop 5year Strategy Plan

Establish Pricing models and Price points for all new products across the industry

• Design key strategic initiatives by segment

• Coordinate with Finance to have initiatives reflect their true value

• Socialize and communicate strategy

• Develop and Execute on Go-to-market plan for Canadian market

• Develop and monitor key strategic initiatives

Basic Qualifications:


• Post secondary education

• MBA with Finance and Marketing major is an asset

• Minimum 7years of pricing and strategy experience

Experience within a legal environment is an asset
