Strategic Media Planner & Buyer

We are actively seeking a Strategic Media Planner & Buyer to join our firm as a dedicated full-time employee. The Strategic Media Planner & Buyer will manage and implement the marketing plan by channel for the marketing team. This person will ensure that the planned prioritization of multiple messages across channels is properly executed in each channel. You’ll collaborate with internal, external and platform partners to develop media strategies to effectively allocate investment across all available mediums, programs and partnerships. You’ll manage media to test and learn, as well as ensure media spending aligns with investment spending and make recommendations based on results.

What you'll own:

  • Responsible for all facets of day-to-day management including campaign set-up, build-outs, execution, ad copy writing, testing, optimization, audience targeting recommendations, account structure.
  • Responsible for working with the marketing teams to create strategy to develop paid media campaigns to support marketing initiatives.
  • Execute paid media campaigns and manage paid performance on company owned social media channels ensuring that all KPIs are achieved and all necessary marketing direction and advertising strategy is implemented in order to meet company goals.
  • Tactical execution of high-level strategies identified to grow and optimize marketing channels.
  • Provide creative analysis and optimization recommendations when appropriate to improve media performance.


  • 5+ years of experience in digital media buying with a very large budget on digital media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest
  • 5+ years of solid analytical experience and aptitude; bias for using data to make decisions and recommendations

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience managing an agency or directly managing paid search campaigns
  • Experience with A/B testing and tools such as Optimizely, Google Experiments, etc.
  • Google Tag Manager experience
