Strategic Marketing Director
The Strategic Marketing Director will lead the effort to transform and integrate the strategic marketing vision, approach and organization for the company. This individual will provide broad leadership to the enterprise by building capability in innovative marketing, demand generation, brand strategy and all othermarketing functions.
This role will lead a team to develop and execute brand portfolio and marketing strategies that deliver sustainable growth for the company and maximize the effectiveness of the direct channel.
? Refine the Strategic Plan for the Direct Channel business to clearly define the business roadmap, break through strategies, product portfolio priorities and competitive landscape.
?Provide Enterprise-wide thought leyadership for the Marketing function of the Company by providing leading practices, capabilities and advice to the Strategic Business Units and the Corporation.
? Create a strong community of marketing leaders in the Company to align on best practices, manage marketing talent, and continuously improve functional excellence through a shared vision.
? Develop and implement strategies to grow in priority segments and markets in partnership with the businesses and corporate strategy team.
? Develop new and enhance existing relationships with end users, build/property owners, and specifying engineers.
The ideal candidate will be a growth-oriented marketing leader who has worked in Business-to-business (B to B) organizations This talented marketing executive must have demonstrated success within all disciplines of marketing. Relevant experience in the commercial building market is highly preferred. .
?BS/BA is required; an advanced degree is preferred with concentration in business strategy or marketing.
? Exceptional interpersonal skills, creativity and team leadership
?15+ years directly related experience, preferably for a Fortune 500, global company with diverse product categories and customer segments. Diversified industrialexperience is highly preferred and agency exposure is a plus.
? Successful experience developing and applying a brand portfolio strategy for multiple functions and disciplines in the organization.
? Strong influencing skills with the ability to build credible, highly collaborative relationships with multiple functions and manage in a complex matrix environment.
? Proven track record in team management, managing multiple projects simultaneously, implementing and driving change, detail orientation, strong analytical skills, market knowledge, customer focus and sound judgment.
? Strong multinational experience.
