Responsible for supporting segment and business marketing through marketing strategy development, implementation and utilization of various Aetna marketing suppliers, enablers, content developers and publishers.


Position Summary/Mission

The Marketing Director, Distribution Partner Marketing, works with the Sr. Director and in collaboration with territories and segment marketing, to develop and manage national broker marketing strategy, including segmentation, analysis and planning. Develops national producer/broker marketing strategies, programs and campaigns with aligned business segments and markets to drive member acquisition, retention and growth. Works with various business and marketing partners to create and execute plans on a regional and/or national level, across multiple touch points.

Fundamental Components:


� Leads development and implementation of national broker marketing strategy and marketing programs, in collaboration with territories and segment marketing. Leads development and implementation of programs and campaigns.


� Responsible for national Middle Market & Small Group producer/broker strategy and, working with territories marketing, producer/broker marketing programs and campaigns, Producer Engagement Toolkit, integrated product marketing campaigns, local newsletter, local sponsorships and local broker event management strategy


� Leads national broker communications team to manage national broker communications operations, distribution and database/list management


� With Program Manager, lead / key role in evaluating current state producer communications and creating improved future state


� Liaison to local territories marketing team, MM and SG marketing team and AFA marketing campaign team

� Stays current on business objectives and industry practices; identifies and anticipates industry trends; develops alternative courses of action and recommends strategic direction of Marketing and business partners.

Background Experience:

3-7+ years of experience as SME

10+ years experience.

College Degree in Business or Marketing expected, Graduate Degree a plus.


Location preferences: New York, NY; Hartford, CT; Wellesley, MA.
