JOB DESCRIPTION

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Perform analysis of Card Reward strategies to evaluate their effectiveness in preventing loss while minimizing operational expense and optimizing the customer experience. Conduct research to identify fraud trends and perform simulations to determine rules that can be implemented to mitigate losses. Communicate across partner teams and at all levels, presenting strategies for approval and obtaining executive buy-in. Manage deliverables needed to implement strategies by working with stakeholders to design solutions, develop requirements and test their implementation. Monitor strategies to identify emerging attacks and trends and make changes to strategies in response. Perform detailed validation of new strategy changes to ensure that deployment performs in alignment with strategy requirements. If necessary, identify potential issues, root cause and communicate updates to technical partners. Ensure compliance with existing control structure while also driving future enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Electronic Engineering, or related field of study plus 2 years (24 months) of experience in the job offered or as Strategic Analytics Associate, Software Engineer, Application Development Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Electronic Engineering, or related field of study plus 4 years (48 months) of experience in the job offered or as Strategic Analytics Associate, Software Engineer, Application Development Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Gathering, manipulating, and organizing large scale data to produce actionable strategy recommendations using Big data analytic techniques; Querying complex large-scale data tables and structures for strategy analytics, monitoring development, and validation using SQL and SAS; Designing and automating reports and dashboard for business partners to communicate relevant business and fraud metrics for emerging trends; Guiding feature release and project management in agile product development frameworks and JIRA to work with Business, Data, and Technology partners on new strategy initiatives and technology releases.
