We are looking for a Strategic Alliance Manager to drive growth and strategic partnerships in this dynamic field.
The Strategic Alliance Manager will play a critical role in establishing and nurturing high-value partnerships that enhance our market position and drive our strategic objectives in the Transportation Management System and logistics sector. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the industry, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of developing and managing strategic alliances.
Responsibilities
• Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic alliances and partnerships with key stakeholders, including technology providers, logistics companies, and industry influencers, to expand our market reach and enhance our TMS offerings.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential partners. Use insights to develop and execute strategic partnership strategies that align with company goals.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners, ensuring mutual benefits and alignment with our strategic objectives. Function as the primary point of contact for partner inquiries and issues.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of partnership initiatives with our overall business strategy.
• Lead negotiations with potential partners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that support our business goals. Oversee the drafting ,review, and execution of partnership agreements and contracts.
• Develop and implement metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of partnerships. Monitor and assess partnership performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvements or adjustments.
• Contribute to the development of the company's strategic plans and objectives, providing insights and recommendations based on partnership performance and industry trends.
• Represent he company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote our TMS solutions, network with potential partners and stay abreast of industry developments.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or alliance management within the transportation management or logistics industry. Proven track record of successfully developing and managing strategic alliances.
• Strong understanding of the TMS and logistics industry, including key players, market trends, and emerging technologies.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
• Proven experience in managing complex partnerships and driving business results.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong project management skills and ability to oversee multiple priorities.
