Position Summary

The Strategic Account Executive will oversee and maintain key client relationships in assigned strategic consumer lending, automotive and financial accounts and support growth opportunities within these and other assigned vertical markets.

 

Key Duties / Responsibilities

- Executive relationship management of assigned accounts at the senior management level, including formulation of strategic plans, contract negotiations and working with NCP’s Client Relationship Management (CRM) organization to effectively communicate with and deepen client relationships; 

- Sales support activities, including representing the Company at trade shows, participating in presentations to current as well as prospective clients and providing subject matter expertise to the Sales organization; and 

- Lead generation, including expanding contacts within existing clients, successfully introducing NCP into accounts where the Company has no existing relationships and exploring and penetrating revenue growth opportunities within assigned mortgage clients. 

-Make periodic visits to NCP accounts, make regular contact via telephone and email correspondence, and ensure clients have a sound understanding of NCP products and services available to them, as well as provide strategic guidance and input on topics ranging from compliance (such as CFPB) to more effective methods of serving customer needs. There is an opportunity for additional compensation through participation in an incentive plan tied to revenue growth realization from new and existing client accounts.  

-Establish and maintain excellent rapport with key decision-makers and influencers within assigned clients

-Initiate account calls in sufficient quantity to maintain existing relationships and expand NCP’s strategic presence

-Identify and generate new client leads within assigned sectors

-Identify assigned client business challenges and present corresponding solutions

-Provide client feedback with respect to new product development and product/service modifications

-Support the Company’s position within the assigned client base and also to prospective customers

-Skillfully communicate information and developments with clients, both positive and negative

-Attend and participate in industry trade shows, vendor conferences, presentations and other professional events

-Monitor assigned client contracts and facilitate contract renewals and amendments

-Assist and work with CRM team to support client problem resolution and escalation to senior management as appropriate

-Clearly and comprehensively communicate client strategies through meetings and internal correspondence

-Maintain complete and accurate records of client interactions and requests using best available methods

-Fulfill other duties as assigned by Senior Management

  Education & Knowledge Required

BS/BA degree strongly preferred with additional education, certification, and degree(s) highly desirable

Minimum 5-10 years professional experience in the print/mail or financial services industry (or related professions). 

 Experience / Skills / Abilities Required

-Must be a self-starter, technically literate with exceptional communication skills and strong leadership qualities with the ability to work independently in a rapidly changing business environment.

-Ability to read, write and communicate the English language and any otherlanguages and/or dialects deemed necessary for the successful execution of the defined position tasks.

-Fundamental mathematical skills, ability to work with basic spreadsheet programs and statistical data is critical.

-Strategic thinking skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks and duties concurrently, and the ability to prioritize are essential to be successful in this highly independent role. 

-Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft suite programs is essential
