Put your e-Commerce skill sets to work by helping to creating a best-in-class production support (Tier-2/Tier-2.5) organization. You should be able to handle face-paced, high pressure and Merchants/ Clients/ Customer Calls and ready to jump on a call with our customers to debug issues and provide necessary details.
Should be able to work in a matrix organization and bring in necessary help from the Implementation teams, Product Managers, Research & Development/ Engineering teams, Logistics teams, Finance teams and other stakeholders, as deemed.
Should be very familiar with the Order Capture, Order Management and Order Fulfillment operations. We have our own home-grown Order Management Platform that specializes in Cross-Border Shipping.
As the Sterling Developer, you will work as part of a team to identify issues, take customer calls, provide quick fixes, work with engineering teams to deploy those fixes and, ultimately, plan and implement and create a best-in-class Production Support organization. You should have good analytical capabilities and diagnose any issues that could adversely impact any functional capabilities of our front-end and back-end applications.
You will also ensure that the organization's implementations meet the scalability and reliabilityrequired for e-Commerce operation, as well as provide feedback to the implementation teams and Engineering teams and help optimize core commerce functions for maximum performance.
? Requires Bachelor?s (or educ. equiv.) Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or Related Field.
? Five (5) years (post-degree, progressive) experience in the job offered including 5 years of experience in each of the following skills;
? In product life-cycle developer/ Production Support roles.
? Use at least one of the following Sterling Commerce/Yantra modules:
? Sterling Distributed Order Management,
? Sterling Selling & Fulfillment Foundation,
? Sterling Global Inventory Visibility,
? Sterling Reverse Logistics and
? Sterling Call Center/Store Operations;
? Use of AWS, Java and XML, Sterling Commerce?s complementary and competitive products including WebSphere, MQ and JMS compliant queues;
? Performing Java programming using Servlets, JSP, EJB, JDBC and Swing; and
? Use of XML, XML parsers, XSL and
? Oracle, MongoDB, Couch-base databases: troubleshooting, performance tuning and reviewing and editing PL-SQL (Oracle).
? Should have excellent flair for English language, both written and Oral.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced, technical environment with minimal instruction
? Strong attention to detail and quality.
? Good analytics and problem-solving capabilities.
? Work for extended hours and be part of weekend production support shits.
