Title: Applied Statistician - Senior
Looking for a business statistician with experience in decision analysis for insights. The individual must have related experience in descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analysis methods and background in:
? Defining business objectives for analysis
? Design and preparation of data for use in analysis
? Application of statistical, decision analytic and data mining methods
? Building, testing, deployment and maintaining models
? Data visualization for business diagnostics and insights.
The individual should have practical experience in analyzing relationships between performance variables involving the following types of analysis:
? Descriptive statistics to understand characteristics of data
?Driver and Predictive Modeling analysis in such areas as:
o Linear and non-linear multiple regression methods
o Logistic regression
o Sensitivity analysis
o Time Series analysis/forecasting methods
o Probabilistic modeling
o Ensemble modeling methods
o Simulation and optimization
? Prescriptive analysis with text/unstructured data analysis, a plus..
Experience in use of standard statistical analytic software (e.g. SAS, R, SPSS, etc.) is required. A Master''s degree is preferred, or suitable experience working in a business analytics or data science environment.
Requires a Masters or PHD degree with 3 - 5years of experience in the field or in a related area.
