Position Purpose: Oversee business opportunities, based on needs assessments within a geography encompassing multiple product offerings. Develop and sell the entire Centene portfolio of products to external clients through multiple channels.

Examine, modernize and market current Centene products to meet the evolving needs of target clients
Develop product bundles, specific to target clients, to generate new revenue
Develop proposals and collaborate with various teams to develop sales and marketing collaterals
Identify and profile new commercial sales leads, specifically focusing on current gaps within client offerings
Partner with Business Development team to increase product offerings for current and potential new clients
Manage sales activities, including strategy development and implementation, for all Centene products
Establish and maintain key sales and business relationships with clients, prospects and business partners
Monitor and analyze sales activities against goals and recommend action plans to improve results
Partner with Operations to determine lead quality and allowable cost structure
Ensure successful sales process by assisting with proposals and presentations and contract negotiations
Monitor level of satisfaction of existing clients, address concerns, and present new or enhanced product offerings
Significant travelrequired


Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 10+ years of experience selling ancillary services to Physicians, Health Plans, Professional consulting firms, and city, state and/or county Governments. Must possess entrepreneurial drive, creativity, and the ability to think innovatively
