We will disrupt the small business mid-market (Big Bet 5), by transforming QuickBooks from a self-serve, DIY accounting tool for small businesses, to a sales-led, done-for-you suite of tools to power growing businesses. Delivering a sophisticated product that customers love is critical to our success.

As a Staff Product Designer on Business Intelligence, you will lead the strategic vision, and execution of Business intelligence. These capabilities will give business leaders like the CEO and CFO a constant understanding of what's happening in their business and what actions to take to increase revenue and profitability. We are looking for a strategic designer with strong interaction design skills and familiarity with designing with data.

Responsibilities

Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative solutions that optimize among user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web and mobile platforms
Turn visions into concepts, and translate concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity, despite complexity of the system
Have a strong design rationale backed by industry best practices, customer data, and behavioral insights
Use quantitative and qualitative data to explore new ideas and quickly test them to make data-driven decisions
Balance long term vision with continuously shipping, iterating, and evolving the design system
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists to deliver customer-backed experiences
Facilitate workshops across cross-functional partners to drive and influence the roadmap of Business Intelligence
Coaching and mentoring junior and senior designers on the team in craft and development of key hard and soft skills
