Penn State Health Community Medical Group is seeking an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon to join Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, PA, as part of a collaborative Heart and Vascular team. Opportunities for clinical research and teaching are available to the selected candidate.

Job Requirements:
  • Medical degree - M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent
  • Completion of 7 years (84 months) of training in General/Cardiac/Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • 5 years (60 months) of post-training experience including successful performance of coronary revascularization, minimally invasive valve repairs/replacement, arrhythmia surgery and mechanical circulatory support
  • PA medical license/eligibility
