Acute Care/Trauma Surgery Opening in Danbury, CT (70 miles from NYC)
Danbury Hospital is seeking an Acute Care/Trauma Surgeon to join our busy Level II Trauma Center, located in Danbury, Connecticut, about 70 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York State. With over 70,000 visits to our ER annually, and about 900 trauma cases a year, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing program as we works towards creating a dedicated Surgical ICU. There is a potential leadership opportunity for those interested. Excellent specialty back up is available as well as surgical residents and medical students.
The ideal candidate will be board certified in general surgery and board certified/eligible in surgical critical care. This is an employed position with Western Connecticut Medical Group, offering a highly competitive compensation package, including allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses and relocation.
