Description:Precision Mechanical Engineer, CAM trained and experienced with EVMS, able to develop/generate Pro-E layouts and detailed drawings for ICDs, sub-assemblies, detail piece parts and integration test articles. Needs to be proficient and comfortable working with GD&T and ProE/WindChill. Requires ability to communicate and coordinate design technical effort with suppliers, electronic packaging, structural/thermal/material analysts, and customer presentation. Effort requires ability to perform design trade studies evaluating cost, weight, structural/thermal benefits. Prefer individual with experience regarding hardware design/testing of flight hardware and EO, IR and opto-mechanical design experience a plus. Needs to be clearable with current and active SECRET clearance. E&T Manager opportunity.
Candidate must be knowledgeable and proficient in the design and configuration of Multi-axis LOS Pointing Gimbals including Gimbal Balance and mass properties management.

Travel may be required on an as needed basis.

Basic Qualifications:
MUST be a U.S. Citizen and have Active Department of Defense Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university (preferably engineering focused) OR a minimum of 9 years of professional experience in mechanical design without a Bachelor's Degree in addition to years experience listed below.

Must have at least 5 years of professional experience creating system level 3D CAD models and using them to create drawings.

Must have experience using CAD (preferably Pro Engineer CREO).

Knowledge of GD&T.

Experience with all aspects of mechanical design, including layout and design documentation.
Desired Skills:
Extensive precision EO, IR, Opto-Mechanical design experience in concept design, detail design, and hardware build and test are highly desirable.

Good knowledge of all aspects of Mechanical engineering is essential.

Active Top Secret clearance.
