Senior ARM64 Firmware Engineer Marvell’s Server Processor BU is revolutionizing the computer server industry with next generation 64-bit ARMv8 ThunderX series Server Processor SoCs for data center, cloud and high-performance computing (HPC) applications.

We are looking for a senior level firmware engineer with extensive experience in server platform bring-up firmware as well as Windows Kernel development to work at Redmond, WA location.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with 7+ years of firmware architecture, design, development and validation experience preferably in the Server Industry. MS is preferred.
  • Hands on experience in hardware-firmware co-design and board bring-up experience with SoCs and/or Customer Reference Platforms.
  • Proven experience in ARM and/or Intel based Server platform firmware development.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Kernel and Driver Development
  • Experience with various subsystems such as PCIe, SATA, USB, I2C, SPI, Flash, SD/MMC
  • Platform firmware/UEFI BIOS development experience in C/C++, scripting languages, Windows and/or Linux OS/Kernel debugging skills.
  • Experience reading datasheets / schematics, and developing drivers, ACPI code accordingly.
  • Proven record of meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality. - Proven record of meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Must have effective interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.

Additional Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in the following areas would be a plus:

- ARM64 SOC firmware development experience.

- Strong server platform firmware development experience.

- Passion to learn and work on next generation technologies.

- Use of GIT, Jira, Microsoft Office, cross platform development Experience on Windows and Linux Operating Systems.

- Great analysis and problem-solving skills.
