Overview

The Corporate Finance data team enables company-wide financial analysis, reporting and analytic tools. The team's goal is enable scalable finance data solutions for Intuit leaders and the finance team to make decisions with speed, ease and confidence. This team is also responsible for supporting data solutions (reports and dashboards), troubleshooting and sharing best practices across the Finance data community.

We are seeking an experienced Staff Business Systems Analyst passionate with transforming how Finance data is consumed, delivered, governed and maintained. This role will leverage deep data expertise and finance acumen to deliver solutions and ensure data stewardship for one or more Finance data domains.


Responsibilities

  • Gather and understand Finance business process, use cases and data requirements
  • Create and drive shared vision and roadmap for Finance data domain
  • Conduct initial data discovery, feasibility studies, mock-up and prototypes
  • Understand end-to-end data flows and develop process maps
  • Drive end-user solution delivery and validation in partnership with business analysts and data partners
  • Establish and ensure data governance in partnership with technology teams
  • Provide subject matter expertise, end-user support and data stewardship in finance data domain(s) for end users

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree, with 6-10 yrs of experience in business intelligence and 3-5 years with finance data
  • Awesome team member with energy, enthusiasm and detail orientation to produce high quality scalable and supportable deliverables in a fast paced environment
  • Expertise in requirements gathering, data management, data warehousing and business intelligence concepts and SQL
  • Experience working with Finance data and stakeholders, including Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, Quote to Cash
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including hypothesis-driven testing and root-cause analysis
  • Able to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of management and with users at all levels of technical/analytical expertise
  • Experience with BI/visualization packages such as Tableau, Business Objects, Qlikview/QlikSense
  • Experience with Enterprise systems data (e.g. Oracle eBusiness, Workday HCM, Oracle BRM, Hyperion Planning, … )
  • Knowledge of programming languages and stats packages (e.g. python, R, SAS, JMP)
  • Familiar with agile methodology
