About the team:
The growing Encore Semi SoC implementation team collaborates with our customers on design of advanced systems for wireless communication, networking, storage, and automotive using innovative new core architectures. Joining our team, you will build on a background of working with state-of-the-art semiconductor design.   
About the project:
In this position you will be part of a team that is implementing leading edge ARM based SOCs. You will be working on physical implementation and integration of SoC devices for GPU, multimedia and GPS technologies for mobile, networking, and consumer applications. This position is ideally suited for a self-driven individual with knowledge in ASIC design of large multi-million gate SoCs. Automation, Debugging Skills and Custom Design knowledge would be an added advantage.

Minimum Qualifications
- BSEE or MSEE with 5 - 10 years of industry experience 
- Physical design implementation (Placement, CTS, STA) in advanced technologies (16 nm)
- Experience working on complex PHYs and related sub-systems
- Experience with custom physical design, pre-placement and pre-routing
- Ability to work with performance and area goals through STA and timing closure methodologies
- Perform power grid analysis
- Good understanding of different CTS structures like clock mesh and multi-source CTS
- Experienced with Low-power implementation methods: CLP, power and IR drop reduction methods
- Timing closure and experience with OCV/AOCV
- Good understanding of Physical Verification: DRC/LVS and antenna
- Proficient in scripting (TCL, Perl and/or C) 

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of automation in physical design
- EDA experience is added advantage

Education Requirements 
- Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering
- Preferred: Master's or equivalent experience
