Job Description Summary:

As an integral member of our Warehouse Distribution Systems team, the Senior WMS Analyst will support the implementation of Manhattan WMS along its integration with other Manhattan applications (TMS, LM), the host system (Oracle EBS), as well as other boundary systems (SciLog, GreenMile, Dematic, .etc). This role is critical in the testing and development cycles of Manhattan systems as well as on-going production support of existing implementations. This role will also lead technology projects, coordinate system maintenance and upgrade, and manage vendor contracts and engagement. Success in this role will be measured against ensuring Warehouse system projects are in alignment with company priorities and IT roadmap.


Job Description:


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Systems implementation and support

Work with leaders in IT, operations, transportation, procurement, customer service and sales through various phases of application system implementation such as gathering requirements, design, testing, training, and user support

Perform unit tests, integration and regression tests to validate system configuration or code changes in WMS, TMS, and LM

Develop training material and support on-site training with managers, supervisors, inventory control, and end-users

Develop reports

Support defect resolution and defect tracking

System Process Improvement and best practices

Work with business leads, functional leads and developers to identify and execute opportunities for process improvement

Identify system constraints and areas of improvement

Identify and disseminate best practices throughout Young's organization

Implement and support the change control process

Communication

Support the business and IT functional leaders in creating business cases for WMS/TMS/MIF related projects and programs

Design and deliver regularly scheduled reports and executive presentations to review the status of all Warehouse system projects

Maintain and track key metrics that measure how WMS/TMS/MIF implementation is performing


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related work experience

At least 5 years experience as an advanced user in WMS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and proven ability to communicate complex technical information to all audiences

Experience developing advanced training material and conducting training courses

Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL Database objects, data migration and data management activities.

Experience with Manhattan applications (WMS, TMS, LM) or other warehouse management systems is a plus

Experience with business systems including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Customer Support is a plus

Experience working with Excel, Smartsheet or Google sheets

Demonstrate ability to work independently

Demonstrate ability to take initiative

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Professional behavior and characteristics are critical. Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends as needed


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


Manhattan WMS and TMS hands-on experience

Deep understanding of Oracle ERP

CPG industry experience is preferred

Knowledge of hardware, OS (Red Hat Linux), network and communications, multi-tiered architecture and applications
