Put your talents to work on developing the technology that makes it all possible Maintain the virtualization platform roadmap and component designs for the server and desktop virtualization platform. Participate in the development of technology roadmaps across the technology stacks. Provide engineering support across the virtualization platform. Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Review and publish virtualization-based designs.
  • Participate in virtualization engineering activities, such as problem resolution and project planning
  • Follow and participate in the architecture review process for new technology deployments
  • Engage with competing and complimentary vendors to VMWare to evaluate upcoming products and services


  • At least 8 years’ experience deploying and supporting VMWare ESXi and SRM
  • Experience designing, deploying, and supporting desktop solutions on VMWare Horizon
  • Experience developing and executing on technology roadmaps
  • Ability to develop automation within the virtualization platform, and contribute to the orchestration of complex tasks
  • Expertise in networking concepts, including subnets, switching, and basic routing
  • Understanding of management tasks in Windows and Linux systems
  • Understanding of high-level concepts across storage and database technologies
  • Experience developing project deployment tasks based on technical requirements
  • Strategy-based approach to problem solving
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift frequently
  • Ability to communicate design, installation, and support of a solution through documentation
  • Ability to translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical solution requirements
  • Strong verbal communication across audiences (such as fellow engineers, end users, and management)
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to attain new technical skills and share knowledge with teammates
