The Sr. Trainer on the PMO Team leads the development and delivery of the IT training curriculum including Project Management, Resource Management, PM Boot Camp and New Hires.

  • Designs, develops and maintains training curriculum for IT Project Managers, Resource Managers and staff.
  • Co-develops, identifies and delivers creative learning solutions for Project Leadership in a variety of formats (lunch & learns, roundtable/group, classroom style, workshops, digital)
  • Designs and maintains PM Boot Camp ensuring materials are aligned with PMBOK standards and processes.
  • Develops and maintains process documentation and training materials which support life cycle processes of a Project/ Program/ Portfolio.
  • Conducts individual and group process training sessions for IT staff.
  • Records training materials via captured digital/web sessions for use by IT staff.
  • Participates in the establishing PPM strategies and priorities.  Identifies, develops and executes enterprise wide PPM processes.
  • Plans, implements and manages PPM related deliverables in conjunction with clients, business partners and service providers.
  • Assists in the development of Project Management quality standards and metrics to measure the on-going activities within assigned process area.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement of the PPM team processes, related projects and activities and implements changes in a timely and cost effective manner. 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Technology, Analytics or related field
  • PMP certification
  • Excellent presentation/training skills
  • Minimum of seven (7) years progressively responsible project/resource management experience, including process design and deployment of related technologies
  • Experience with Clarity or other PPM system
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, current computer hardware and capabilities and programming and system techniques
