Perform oversight of the Technology and Cybersecurity space with an emphasis around banking transformation initiatives while working towards identifying gaps in program areas, documentation, controls, and processes
Advise senior management on identified gaps and proposed remediation efforts
Serve as a risk advisor on critical projects and initiatives, primarily around enterprise architecture, cloud computing, as well as other areas related to technology and cybersecurity risks as needed or required
Perform reoccurring risk assessments and deliver periodic risk reports for senior management
Participate in first line of defense councils, committees, methodology/standards discussions, change management or other meetings that could involve key risk decisions
Perform control oversight, which includes providing guidance in the development of technical and process-based controls and evaluating controls to ensure risks are properly mitigated and are operating effectively
Provide support and guidance in the development and implementation of key risk indicators (KRI’s), key performance indicators (KPI’s) and service level agreements
Evaluate alignment with organizational risk programs and tolerances
Review and validate technical processes to ensure they are adequately designed
Perform targeted reviews to ensure risks are appropriately identified and mitigated
8+ years of experience in IT audit, risk management, technology or security function with a minimum of 4 years’ experience leading/managing, implementing and/or providing oversight for technology operations, Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC), Agile Methodologies, database, data management and or networking.
Certifications in technology, information security and or risk management such as: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) or a combination of other related certifications. Relevant or related experience can also be beneficial.
Zions Bancorporation is a bank holding company headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. Zions Bancorporation originated as Keystone Insurance and Investment Co., a Utah Corporation, in April 1955. In April 1960, Keystone, together with several individual investors, acquired a 57.5 percent interest in Zions First National Bank from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 1965, the name of the company was changed to Zions Bancorporation. The first public offering of shares in Zions Bancorporation was made in January 1966. There continued to be some minority shareholders until April 1972, when the company exchanged the remaining minority shares for common shares. In 2018, Zions Bancorporation merged into its bank subsidiary, ZB, N.A., which was then renamed Zions Bancorporation, N.A.
