Sr. Technical Support Analyst
The Sr. Technical Support Analyst is responsible for day to day operations of a manufacturing plant's IT systems.
The tech's role is to work with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering to determine need and coordinate with the SSB IT team and third party vendors to support the implementation of solutions.
The tech will also serve as an escalation resource for service desk.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Standards and Policies
Ensure standards and policies are adhered to and provide feedback to the IT Operations team on compliance and improvement opportunities.
Develops and maintains credible and effective working relationships with both plant management, engineering, maintenance and IT personnel in a way that demonstrates an understanding of business problems, IT strategies, issues, and priorities
Participates in development and implementation of strategies to meet organizational goals, ensuring that client and IT priorities are aligned, accomplished and documented
Work with plant staff to understand requirements and needs and work with IT Operations and Infrastructure to develop solutions.
Assist in planning and the implementation of solutions.
Monitors day-to-day operations and serves as an escalation resource for issues and requests.
3. Manage Change
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, pride, excitement and ownership.
Assist in the analysis and resolution of technical problems.
Effectively use incident management tools to document and complete service requests within published Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
- 4 year college degree
- 5 years of experience in IT
- 5 years of experience in Cisco networking.
- 3 years of experience with Microsoft servers and Cisco UCS servers.
- IT Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with VMware and Cisco UCS
- Experience with EMC Storage (VNXe3200) and Backup (VDP and Data Domain 2200)
Travel up to 10%
