We are looking for a Senior Technical Consultant to serve as primary delivery mechanism of next - generation software requirements / updates / maintenance to the non-production and production environment and serve as the primary customer interface. We are building/enhancing/supporting a commercial grade SaaS web application (Clarifi) that will service the restaurant industry.

  • Discover and analyze functional/technical components of next-generation updates including scope, requirements, security, development, testing and implementation in conjunction with the customer team
  • Translate business requirements into technical documentation and implement through configuration and scripts solutions to meet business needs in the software
  • Create and execute test plans, including step by step instructions, expected results, and status tracking
  • Serve as the primary customer interface for all technical topics
  • Research functionality capabilities and collaborate with Engineering resources to identify solutions
  • Provide regular communication of technical progress, status and issues to Project team
  • Deliver Projects based on deadlines and within budget
  • Manage and address customer Project escalations
  • Identify, manage and scope change requests to original project scope
  • Deliver customer technical training and maintain software documentation (functional)
  • Transition completed projects into ongoing customer care support
  • Work with external customer partners to deliver Projects related to integration and configuration deliverables
  • Serve as primary technical liaison between customer and the Company development and support staff

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 10 + years as a consulting experience in enterprise software
  • Proven track record of successful support of customer-facing web / SaaS implementations in the technology sector
  • Experience with Inventory and Cash Management software products
  • Experience with writing technical and training documentation
  • Must be able to configure and QA software
  • Must be able to write basic SQL queries
  • Proven track record of successful support of customer-facing web / SaaS implementations in the technology sector
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team
  • Ability to work in a customer facing role and with customer technical/development resources
  • Must have experience with Scrum Methodology and SDLC
  • PLUS: Previous experience in the Retail/Hospitality Industry

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field of study or equivalent experience
  • Must be available during non-business hours, as needed
  • Strong business, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer management skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment within a (virtual) team.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and use independent judgment.
  • Travel may be required at 25%
