As a Senior System Test/Integration Engineer, you will take part in all phases of Integration and Test; from assisting with requirement definition, to defining the test approach and validation method, to developing and executing test procedures, andtroubleshooting and resolution of technical issues. You will also take part in Test Readiness Reviews anddesign reviews, and conductaudits of test software and facilities. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, able to independently plan and execute toschedule. The positions work to verify and sell off requirements and validatesystem functionality working with customers directly or customer representatives.
-Candidates must have demonstrated excellent performance working at all levels of the test and integration process, starting with SW or HW component testing and completing in system level verification and validation activities.
-Candidates should have hands-on experience working with systems, software, and hardware staff in developing and implementing test plans and procedures.
-The ideal candidate would have experience with large-scale SW and HW program integration at the Prime contractor level, working with customer representatives to successfully complete these activities.
-Must have cross IPT and cross engineering discipline experience and demonstrated performance in working across teams and functions to achieve results.
-Experience with discrepancy reporting systems (ie ClearQuest, JIRA).
-Familiarity with the entire software development lifecycle (requirements, architecture, development, integration, verification and validation)
-Experience working with requirements management tools/databases
-5-7 years of relevant experience.
SecurityClearance: Active Top Secret.
-Experience with one or more scripting languages (Perl, Python, Ruby, shell)
-Experience working in a UNIX/Linux environment
-Experience with database interaction, knowledge of SQL
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related scientific discipline. Applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. An advanced degree is preferred.
