Sr Silicon Design GPU Lab Engineer
THE ROLE:
As a Senior Silicon Design Engineer, you will be part of the design team working with state of art Graphics Processor Units (GPU). This is a very dynamic and fast-paced engineering environment where you will be leading and participating in a wide variety of challenging product development projects.
Your responsibility is to development of board and system hardware from inception to production, with demonstrated capability to closely work with power supply designs, to create/validate board schematics, to review PCB layouts, to evaluate components/circuits, to drive product bring-up, to support qualification, and to ensure smooth volume production within the given schedule.

- Must be self-driven, collaborative, and a strong team player with technical leadership skills to support optimal performance.
- Excellent teamwork, communication and organization skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- A truly multidisciplinary function, working in close collaboration with the front end designers and physical designers on the various SOC verification efforts
- Interacting with a wide variety of internal and external design verification development teams, DV methodology, and Silicon IP and tool vendors.
- Work with architects, and the design and DV team to define develop Testplan and execute system verification plan from power management, system features e.g. power management, DFT DV, interoperability, multi-engine Security, Coherency, etc.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Some board hardware and system design experience.
- Proven ability to drive product development from concept to mass production.
- Ability to write product specifications.
- BOM management skills.
- Solid experience of high-speed mix-signal design techniques.
- Solid experience in LDOs and Multiphase DC-DC switching power supply Power Integrity high power ASIC products. Experience with fundamentals of power conversion and power delivery for high performance processors or GPUs is a plus.
- Experience in hardware lab tools, digital oscilloscopes and other common lab equipment.
- Experience with firmware, APIs, applications, OSes and their interactions within Windows, Linux, gaming, compute, and virtualization environments.
- Proven ability to lead complex/fast-pace programs.
- Understand industrial standards: high speed/digital interfaces (DP, PCI Express), memory interface, I2C/SMBus/PMBus.
- Must be self-driven, collaborative, and a strong team player with technical leadership skills to support optimal performance.
- Excellent teamwork, communication and organization skills.
- Experience with high-speed serial interfaces, PCI Express, DisplayPort is a plus.
