Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 5~6 years experience in a complex IT environment. Strong skills in project planning and management. Experience with server design, installation, and support including database administration. PC/LAN operating environment experience that includes: Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Products, automated software deployment and device management tools. Active Directory experience that includes, group policy creation and administration , user and device management.Good problem determination skills.
Good communication skills. Proficient customer service skills. Knowledge of a variety of hardware platforms and operating systems. Excellent management experience of large projects. Microsoft MCITP: Enterprise Administrator is preferred Must be able to lift boxes/equipment weighing 60 lbs. or more. Must be able to travel to various Advocate sites. 24 hour/7 day on call support required.To provide technical management, planning, configuration, installation, maintenance and support for all networked hardware (Servers, PC's, printers) and software. Maintain and monitor the performance of networked servers and backups and ensure DR best practices are followed. Develop and maintain installation and operational policies and procedures. Participate as a senior technical resource on projects for hardware and application installations including budgetary requirements. To utilize knowledge of server and networking technologies to implement Advocate Standards ensuring efficient utilization of network resources.Accountabilities:Manages server and storage capacity planning to ensure efficient network operation. Responsible for identifing and informing site network staff of potential networking issues and demonstrated performance concerns. Assists networking staff with the implementation of solutions to networking issues and networking upgrades. Deployment and Installation Develops, implements and adheres to policies, procedures and standards Oversees day~to~day activities of designated support staff. Responsible for Meeting SLAs Provides hardware and software consulting services. Establishes and Maintains Positive Working and Customer Relationships Continuous Development of Professional and Technical Skills Designs, configures, installs, implements, and supports large projects utilizing standard Advocate components. Support and Maintenance of Computer Workstations, Devices and Software. Manages server, storage and operating environment.
