The successful candidate will be required to develop courseware using PowerPoint software and / or developing storyboards to be used in Adobe Captivate authoring tool. Selected candidate will validate and verify developed courseware to ensure accuracy, aided by engineering staff, on L3Harris Technologies CSW equipment. Duties include conducting stand-up instruction to Department of Defense (DoD) personnel at CONUS and OCONUS sites. The Training Instructor instructs customer (military) technical personnel and evaluates student progress. This candidate should possess:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact with all program stakeholders to include engineers, customers, and project managers.
- Ability to develop course curricula, methodology and training materials such as lesson plans, trainee guides and computer based training aids
- Ability to develop training storyboards

- Gather content
- Define learning objectives
- Create assessment criteria
- Use storyboard template
- Ability to research and analyze detailed technical processes and extract technical information
- Ability to format documents to meet contract requirements

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities

- Experience in developing military training courseware
- Experience with monthly reporting in managing project hours and schedule
- Experience working with/understanding of schematic diagrams, mechanical drawings, interconnect drawings and parts lists
- Competent interaction skills with all levels of employees
- Microsoft Office Suite proficent (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Knowledge in networking, networking devices, and Command Line Interface (CLI) a plus
- Adobe Captivate and Adobe Acrobat
- Military service a plus
- 5-15% travel required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design / Technical Writing / English / Journalism or equivalent training and / or work experience
- 5+ years' experience developing training courseware and instructing military personnel
Obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
