CDPS Application Support team is looking for a JAVA Software Engineer to support the various client applications. The chosen candidate is expected to learn application code & infrastructure.
The chosen candidate will perform technical analysis on reported application issues to determine impact & severity to the client. This person will take steps to recover from the reported incident within specified SLA window in order to put business processing back on track. Depending on source of the issue this person will then work with developer team or Enterprise Services to permanently resolve. If necessary, this person will code, test, & implement resolutions to issues following team methodology/processes.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for support activities including, but not limited to:
- On-call Support
- Disaster Recovery Exercises
- Application Monitoring
- Application Supportability Improvements
- Incident Recovery
- Application Defect Remediation (code fixes)
