ACI Worldwide Corp. is looking to file one Senior Software Engineer position to be based out of its Elkhorn, Nebraska office. Specific duties of the position include the following: Ability to understand Customer’s business needs and create innovative solutions. Assess alternative solutions based on extensive technical knowledge in?depth business knowledge and customer focus. Independently design develop, test and deliver high?quality software/solutions with limited direction from the project lead and/or manager. Create and review assigned product/project deliverables (i.e., Impact assessments, external and internal specifications, code manuals, education material, installation guides, etc.). Debug complex applications using JMeter and internal logging / trace framework. Provide guidance and subject?matter expertise to the development organization. Isolate and correct complex problems at a subsystem level. Anticipate solutions for the customer that result in better products. Command the critical path and understand dependencies. Make significant improvements, without being asked, to improve the performance of one’s own organization. Grasp a customer’s business needs, anticipate requirements not yet conveyed and progress the dialogue. Routinely apply new approaches as a direct result of one’s own initiative that result in a better solution, increased quality and/or greater efficiency. May require domestic and international travel normal to the occupation up to 10% of the time dependent upon customer requirements. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent accepted) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus two (2) years’ experience required. Experience must include: 2 years of experience with object?oriented software design and writing multi?threaded, secure code using Java SE; 2 years of scripting experience with Windows batch scripts and Linux shell scripting and Python; 2 years of experience with Java language, unit test, Mockito, PowerMock, CheckMarx, Klocwork, Sonar, Findbugs, PMD, Cygwin and code coverage tools, Eclipse, STS, SQL Developer IDE’s, Maven, Ant, Jenkins build tool; 2 years of experience with Spring, JDBC, JPA, log4j, Javascript and JAXB frameworks; 2 years of experience working with XML, XSD, JSON, Ajax, HTML, CSS, Active MQ, JMS; 2 years of experience with JBOSS, Apache Tomcat and Websphere application servers; 2 years of experience with Selenium automation testing and testing; 2 years of experience with designing the applications using ER and UML; 2 years of experience with Oracle, DB2; 2 years of experience with JIRA for bug and Agile management and confluence for code review; 2 years of experience with Notepad++, Winscp, Putty, Grepwin, Microsoft office Suite for documentation and other activities; 2 years of experience with Tortoise SVN versioning tools; 2 years of experience in Oracle and Db2 databases; and 2 years of experience with Payment Systems.
