Responsibilities

Iron Mountain is looking for a senior software developer who will have the opportunity to work with machine learning & artificial intelligence models supporting classification and data enrichment for data analytic projects. You will help build the next generation of machine learning systems and applications by designing algorithms to solve computer vision and machine learning problems. You will be responsible for developing and deploying advanced analytics to improve decision-making,

  • Lead on the development of state-of-the-art systems which utilize data science techniques such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical analysis and mathematical optimization

  • Develop, create and deploy machine learning, computer vision and heuristic algorithms to extract semantic information from scanned images and office documents

  • Design and train TensorFlow models used to classify document types and extract salient details including company logos, form parsing, statistical data from scientific graphs, facial recognition, segmentation, and sentiment analysis

  • Design networks, retrain existing models, and apply TensorFlow models

  • Develop highly scalable classifiers and tools leveraging machine learning, data regression, and rules based models

  • Perform analysis on a wide variety of large and disparate datasets using highly complex and novel techniques

  • Expertise and experience in computer vision (feature extraction, segmentation, color, shape and texture analysis, object detection). Specific computer vision skills in object detection, and classification is plus

  • Work with natural language, machine vision, collaborative filtering, clustering, classification regression, information retrieval, and statistical modeling.

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of core machine learning concepts (Object detection, localization, classification)

  • Strong experience with TensorFlow, including building, retaining, and optimizing models

  • Experience with one or more ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, Spark MLlib, etc

  • Systems design experience with ability to architect and explain analytical data flows

  • Experience with one or more ML techniques (Convolutional & Recurrent Neural Networks, Decision Trees, etc.)

  • Experience with one or more ML areas (Natural Language Processing, AI, Text Classification, Computer Vision)

  • Experience in programming languages (C++, Java, Python)

  • Experience in open-source technologies and multiple operating systems (Linux, Android etc.)

  • Experience with statistics and mathematical theory is desirable

  • Familiarity with Cloud technologies such as Google Cloud, AWS, Azure

  • Familiarity with Hadoop, Hive, Redshift, Spark and other big data systems

  • 5+ years of work experience in data science, data analytics, or Business Intelligence.

  • 5+ years of experience with statistical modeling and machine learning

  • 3 – 5 years of experience with deep learning application, specifically with TensorFlow

  • Familiarity with system bring up, application development, and new hardware architecture is essential
