This position will focus on Retail networksecurity design and engineering.
This role is to serve as technical and department lead, reporting to IT Security Director.

Key Results:

This position will help lead Retail networksecurity and be responsible for working with other security engineers to take a risk-based approach to security Levi Strauss & Co.

  • Design, implement and maintain information security & networksecurity
  • Including but not limited to technical platforms providing Network Access Control (NAC), Software Defined Networking (SDN), VPN, Firewall, Network Switches, Wireless Controllers/AP’s, and other security controls delivered at a network level.
  • Develop and implement information security controls and procedures to support:
  • Security at LS&CO Global Retail locations
  • O&O sites
  • Franchisee sites
  • Design system securityarchitecture and develop detailed security designs
  • Configure and troubleshoot securityinfrastructure devices
  • Manage and engage with technology vendors for activities related to support, purchases, renewals
  • Performance management reports and metrics

Deliver Support services in line with established department SLAs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as team lead and point of contact delivering network and Security services to Retail customers
  • Work with leader to manage priorities of team to effectively deliver services on time and within budget
  • Provide L3 technical support as needed to maintain and run retailnetwork services
  • Provide for security consulting in the areas of network and security for new Retail business initiatives
  • Lead security projects delivering new security capabilities helping move Levi’s to a zero trust security model
  • Author and manage networksecurity policy, processes, and standards for Retail environments. Develop and hand off Operation support documentation to Network Operations for new technology introduction
  • Develop and mentor security operations team and engineering team members
  • Leverage analytics tools to help model and detect abnormal networksecurity behavior in partnership with the cybersecurity team to detect and respond to suspicious events on Levi Strauss & Co. Retail environments globally.
  • Secure partner access and information exchange to support vendor risk management goals and protect information with Levi Strauss & Co. partners.

Minimum Education Required:

BS degree in Computer Science or related field

Years and Type of Experience Required:

A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Information Security and 5+ years’ experience with networksecurity

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Detailed technical knowledge of Fortinet networking and security technologies, network access control (NAC), network segmentation / SDN technology, VPN, firewall, and wireless networking solutions.

Hands on experience implementing NAC, VPN, Network Segmentation, and security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, authentication systems, content filtering, DNS, CDN, WAF, wireless network services, 802.1x.

Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols with a focus on Network Security. Experience and familiarity with retailnetworking and wireless services to enable omnichannel DTC capabilities.

Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols.
