The Role:

This role is an exciting opportunity to be a critical part of a team enabling respiratory delivery of mRNA at an organization that is radically changing the biotech industry. Moderna is seeking an experienced, highly motivated scientist or engineer to establish and lead respiratory delivery of solid dosage forms of mRNA in a highly interdisciplinary and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be a key member of the teams developing mRNA therapies using pulmonary and nasal routes of delivery. The candidate must have expertise in techniques for particle engineering and their solid-state properties, and experience with inhalation devices and aerosol characterization. Experience with nucleic acid therapeutics, nanotechnologies, drug delivery and general pharmaceutical product development is highly desirable. The candidate should have a strong scientific and engineering foundation to advance inhalation drug product development.
