Job Description 

Administer and support SAP ECC 6, BW, Business Objects, Solution Manager, and SQL Server Database as well as several bolt-ons and supporting systems. Activities include planning, analysis, troubleshooting, integration, installation, configuration, operations, and maintenance of the SAP systems. Additional responsibilities include leading periodic maintenance activities, refreshes, patching, and upgrades. Apply in-depth knowledge of SAP Basis and work on and/or lead complex assignments or projects. Solve problems of a complex and/or diverse scope. Work independently and receive minimal guidance on work assignments. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administration and support of the SAP Basis Administration for SAP ERP, SAP Netweaver, SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP Solution Manager and SAP Web Dispatcher
- Provide backup support to the database administrator
- Provide all levels of support for team members
- Lead the SAP system copy activities: homogeneous and heterogeneous migration
- Lead the SAP client copy activities: export and import as required
- Support migration of SAP Transport Management 
- Participate in application of SAP enhancement packages and upgrades
- Support SAP add-ons and upgrade projects
- Review SAP security note releases and guide the team in testing and application
- Apply SAP OSS (Online Service System) notes
- Review and respond to system monitoring alerts and alarms
- Maintain and configure the SAP GUI
- Assist with maintaining and supporting the SAP Fiori environment
- Monitor regularly scheduled server backup jobs

Education and Experience
- Computer Science or Information Technology degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 5+ years of Basis experience in a large enterprise
- 3+ years of technical administration experience 
- Experience with Windows Server, SQL Server, and networking preferred
- Certification and/or License – N/A
