Job Description:


The Sales Manager is responsible for managing the customer relationship at a platform level.  This involves managing and coordinating all aspects of current programs, which includes achieving project milestones, quoting ECNs, collecting receivables, and improving platform profitability.  In addition, the Business Manager is responsible for selectively pursuing, quoting and acquiring new business.  This position serves as the primary customer contact for all related commercial concerns. Location can be Monroe or Grass Lake.



Required Experience

Required Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university, engineering or business degree highly preferred
  • Minimum 8 years related experience in technical sales/engineering in appropriate markets
  • Must have proven success in technical sales environment
  • Must have experience in selling complex or highly engineered products
  • Must have previuos experience in the Automotive Industry


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience selling to automotive OEMs
  • Powertrain, exhaust, or chassis experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, PC skills a must
  • Demonstrated ability and skills for customer liaison and program management tools
  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel as required (domestic and international)
  • Experienced negotiator
  • Strong work ethic
