Under general supervision of the Principal Investigators and in accordance with established policies and procedures is responsible for the administration of daily operations including supervision of support staff coordination of participant site personnel and identification and removal of barriers for multiple research projects.
Equivalent to Masters Degree in relevant discipline. Knowledge of research grants administration and current reporting requirements.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span with consideration of aging processes human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.
Three to five years of professional experience in academic or research setting. Exposure to multi-year multi-site research studies desirable.
Professional research experience required. Experience with clinical and/or diagnostic interviewing excellent interpersonal and organizational skills preferred. Potential need for schedule flexibility around grant deadlines and to accommodate participant visits (some early mornings evening and weekend availability needed). Personal transportation required. Primary responsibilities involve interviewing pregnant women staff training administrative tasks budget oversight IRB submissions grant progress reports new submissions project coordination and data oversight. Strong interviewing administrative planning organizational and interpersonal skills preferred. Experience with administration and oversight of NIH grants is preferred.
