Duties: Responsibilities include: Acting as a technical lead on designs, applying their knowledge in electrical engineering to develop embedded hardware for downhole tools; developing and analyzing design requirements; investigating problems in design, and then recommending and implementing solutions; independently executing designs and test plans to ensure systems meet written specifications and requirements for functionality and performance; collaborating proactively with key stakeholders; working as integral part of multi-discipline team including project management, mechanical engineering, assembly and test, and software teams.
Requirements: Requires a Master's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years' related experience in downhole tool embedded systems, including experience developing high temperature embedded systems from project initiation to commercial release including concept development, prototype development, lab testing and field testing; mixed signal hardware design experience including experience with microcontroller, digital signal processors, programmable logic, memory, communication interfaces, ADCs and signal conditioning circuitry; and experience developing firmware for microcontroller and digital signal processors to perform communication and data acquisition/signal processing for mixed-signal hardware.
Must have 2 years of experience with each of the following:
1.Signal hardware design for downhole tools
Must have 1 year of experience with each of the following:
1.Developing embedded firmware
2.Digital signal processing
