Key Responsibilities Include:
Work with the Jaybird Business Group and understand their marketing strategies, plans, goals and expected results and to develop regional plans to execute these plans in-region aligned with regional priorities and sales goals.
Develop integrated marketing plans that support regional priorities, executing against product and branding plans by BG. Establish objectives, strategies and key KPIs and metrics by initiative to measure results agreed upon between the BG and the region.
Write creative briefs to provide strategic direction to functional areas and teams, including media, social, channel marketing, and creative strategy. And if required, develop campaign plans and actions.
Manage & coordinate execution of marketing activities including optimization throughout the lifecycle of a campaign.
Review and present ROI analysis of campaign impact in addition to making recommendations for future campaign direction.
Maintain documentation of marketing plans: work with cross-functional partners and/or retail partners to drive post-campaign analysis, learning, and development of best practices.
Develop and execute channel marketing plans for major retailers and e-tailers (in conjunction with sales and marketing teams for customer related e-tail properties and media outreach from the customer to end-consumers).
Development of merchandising plans including plan-o-grams and promotional display space- including working with display vendors to create the displays and in-store execution to have them set
Collects and provides a complete view of the various budgets that comprise the total marketing budget, from operational expense to MDF activities.
A demonstrated ability to drive impactful and measurable demand generation programs. The ideal candidate will manage the process from framing the business need and briefing process to the ongoing implementation, execution, and analysis of impact against stated objectives. And as needed, to refine to campaign along the way to fully optimize the ROI.
Strong brief writing skills. From creative briefs to marketing program briefs and media briefs, clearly articulating objectives and framing what needs to be achieved and providing informed suggestions on paths to get there.
Digital Marketing - Strong understanding of digital marketing across all demand generation medium from digital search, programmatic media, endemic media, direct marketing and customer marketing vehicles, and related tracking mechanisms. Experience driving demand generation programs on Amazon including AMG and AAP is required.
Business acumen to relate how a demand generation program can relate to and achieve business objectives. Ability to articulate creative strategies to reach the objectives in new and thoughtful ways. s.
Metric driven - Proven ability to frame creative campaigns that drive ROAS and improve over time. Ability to understand and analyze performance to provide clear recommendations to optimize.
Teamwork - Develop a close relationship with all stakeholders and contributors across the company to help drive Demand Generation. Proven ability to work in a matrix organization and the ability to influence and drive success among various contributors during the planning and development of a campaign or plan.
Communication - Communicates in a clear and concise manner (both verbal and written) that is appropriate for the initiative and audience from associate to executive, and takes responsibility for ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed.
Accountable. Ability to own a program and its results from start to finish. To provide analysis to evaluate results and create an action plan to improve the program and to seek best practices.
History of consolidating and managing marketing budgets to provide a 360-degree view of budgets and spending and the ability to align spending to priorities.
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
Understanding of digital channels including SEO, PPC, email and AMS marketing
Proven track record of working with salespeople and accounts to drive and execute channel marketing and merchandising plans both online and offline
6-8 years working in marketing for a consumer-driven organization - ideally in a consumer product/retail focused company.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
A quick learner, adaptable to new technologies and environments
Attention to detail.
Strong proficiency in business applications.
Track-record of teamwork with matrixed teams from BG marketing to salespeople and account marketing teams
In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:
Ability to brief teams cross-functionally and to lead a campaign
Interest in technology, consumer technology or consumer electronics.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing, or a related degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
An MBA is a plus but not required.
