Summary

Implementation Readiness ensures the implementation organization is effectively prepared and ready for all new product and software releases. The Project Manager collaborates with numerous cross-functional stakeholders to drive readiness through planning, scheduling and execution of all deliverables within the scope of assigned projects. This US based position will include partnering with the Dispensing International team to drive readiness and process efficiency, develop requirements for International software releases and act as a liaison between the US Domestic and International Readiness and Implementation teams.

Responsibilities

  • Partnership with the International organization supporting Dispensing solutions to ensure successful release of new products and versions including; planning, status reporting, resourcing, documentation and tools while aligning with the organizational release structure and strategy
  • Close collaboration with product core teams to ensure GCS International readiness activities and processes
  • Influence the product core team to ensure constraints & specifics of International markets are taken into account and product changes delivered on time
  • Utilize practices, tools and standards for communicating critical readiness information to leadership team and cascading critical information to all Implementation teams regarding readiness activities, status and progress
  • Coordinate critical readiness activities with OUS regions
  • Drive, manage and monitor execution of key programs, strategic and continuous improvement initiatives across GCS and the implementation function, providing leadership necessary to achieve goals
  • Establish strong relationships at all levels within GCS and with the Global and Regional Commercial Leadership
  • Maintain strong industry and product knowledge
  • Manage time and resources effectively to meet company objectives

Knowledge

  • Demonstrate knowledge of healthcare project management methodologies including necessary soft skills
  • Possess experience of clinical and IT operations in healthcare environment
  • Understand customer medication management workflow
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Implementation project governance expectations (scope management, tollgate, and risk & change management processes)

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ experience leading software implementations at a regional or national level within healthcare
  • Experience working with international teams preferred or experience in multi-cultural environment
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written. Another European language would be a plus
  • Basic understanding of software release structures and readiness processes
  • Proven track record of project management in a dynamic, growing company

Travel requirements

  • 30-50% US and International travel will be required.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards.
