Description

 The Cross Systems Senior Project Leader II will oversee an important IT area that supports Honda Financial Services (HFS). This leader is responsible for Application Development, Production Support and Enhancement Services for various enterprise applications including the Gateway Portal, Advanced Systems, and Business Intelligence analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities:
• Build and lead high performing teams that achieve HFS and IT goals
• Support IT Management and partner with peers to ensure company and divisional objectives are achieved
• Support the direction and vision of IS and promote IS capabilities

Qualifications

 • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
• 15 years of IT business work experience required
• 7 years of Project Management experience required
• 5 years of experience as a Functional Leader
• A minimum of 3 years Automotive Finance experience
• Supervisory experience
• Technical background a plus (.Net, Mainframe development)
• High level of personal integrity and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters
• Experience conceiving and implementing strategic initiatives combining multiple Issues and involving multiple teams and organization
• Experience working on Application Development or Portfolio Support
• Vendor management and business knowledge
• Strong technical skills and Project Management skills
• Good communication, negotiation, team building, coaching/mentoring, interpersonal, presentation, conflict resolution, people management, people development, estimation and planning skills
• Knowledge of strategic planning processes
• Experience leading senior management In decision making meetings in order to come to a consensus on critical decisions
• Knowledge of organizational change methods
• Ability to manage time and diverse activities under deadlines while delivering quality results, on time, on budget
• Experience managing teams with differing priorities and levels of expertise
• Strong knowledge in daily use of Microsoft Project/OWB to manage resources and tasks.
• Strong interpersonal Skills, and customer orientation required
• Application Development and Portfolio Support for multiple large projects
• Strategic planning
• Business knowledge of financial services
• Strong technical Application Development skills and Project Management skills
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
• Expertise of HNA-IS and industry stand project methodologies
