What You Will Be Doing

Our SSD Marketing team is seeking a Sr. Segment Lead who will be responsible for the overall success of Enterprise SSDs for the Texas region, including design wins, revenue, and margin. You will work closely with sales, product managers, customer support, business operations and supply chain management to achieve overall Toshiba goals.

You Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Create SSD TAM analysis for accounts in the Texas region, identifying top targeted opportunities based on revenue potential, product alignment, expected gross margins, and business terms
  • Drive detailed plans to win business in the short and long term
  • Monitor share and develop proposals to maximize Enterprise SSD share
  • Monitor and analyze competitor positions and develop responses for maximum revenue and margin
  • Track progress on design wins, technical issues, and manage escalation of gaps
  • Work with product management to prioritize roadmap requests linked to revenue and return on investment
  • Work with sales to arrange Executive meetings, QBRs/QTRs and prepare presentations for each
  • Understanding the competitive landscape across all SSDs sold through large OEMs and applying that knowledge to grow Toshiba’s market share

Education & Experience Necessary for Success:

  • 8 years of experience in a high-technology company
  • Background in SSD Storage or flash memory
  • Worked with tier 1 and tier 2 OEM’s, broad experience across product management, product marketing, sales, and business development roles
  • MBA Preferred; BSEE or BSCS
