We are looking for an experienced product marketing leader who can lead the charge in developing compelling messaging and positioning, and ensure our sales team has all the right materials to effectively sell our products and services.
Who Are You?
You are a self-starter, self-motivated, highly organized, and have an amazing attention to detail. You love to write and find the right words that makes something stand out as unique. You like getting your hands dirty with data, and yet are motivated to hear first-hand from customers about what they need. You have an eye for design and are comfortable in Keynote.
You recognize that collaborating with others makes a better final product. You learn from others, teach those around you, and truly care about the people you work with.
What You’ll do
This is a critical member of the marketing team. You will partner with product stakeholders to develop core messaging and positioning for all of Rockbot’s products and services. You’ll collaborate with the sales team to develop topnotch sales materials and work closely with the broader marketing team to ensure the right messages are reflected on our website. You’ll get to know our customers and help the Rockbot team understand the nuances of the different verticals (and company sizes) we target. You’ll also work hard to develop creative and fun content marketing pieces to drive new prospects to the Rockbot brand.
Take our positioning and messaging to the next level. Rockbot is moving really fast. Our brand will need to evolve just as fast. You’ll work with the marketing and executive team to continuously push our positioning and messaging further.
Develop go-to-market plans for the launch of new products and services. Paint a vision of what we seek to launch, find the best way to position it, and bring the products to market.
Be the voice of the customer. Partner closely with many of our top customers & sales team to understand how what we can to make our products even better. Synthesize this data, and make recommendations based of off customers inputs, quantitative data and market trends.
Complex, cross-functional project/program management. It takes a village to launch a product, and it takes a true project manager to be able to see a project through from conception to launch. You need to be part-visionary, part-diplomat, part-manager, and part-communicator.
Know our market better than anyone else. Collect, analyze, and distribute information about competition and industry trends. Understand the competitive landscape, arm the team with necessary intelligence to close competitive sales deals.
Empower our Sales and Marketing teams to sell and market our products successfully through collateral, training, and internal tools. Own the creation of materials for market education, sales acceleration and thought leadership to advance our conversation with the market.
Manage contractors. Contactors are leverage for us, and infuse new thinking and creativity. But they need to be closely managed in order for the relationships to be effective and cost-conscious.
Who you are
7+ years of product marketing experience, ideally experience with products that targets both enterprisesand small businesses.
Amazing with process and documentation.
Love to write, and is excellent it communicating the finer details.
Excellent collaborator with a high E.Q. Ability to work with a lot of strong personalities to get work done.
Demonstrated an ability to manage multiple projects, programs and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Passionate using data to drive marketing insights & strategies. You love accessing and manipulating data across multiple sources to develop actionable insights.
Stickler for details and creating beautiful content and ensuring deadlines are met.
