Sr. Product Marketing Manager - Cloud, Service Provider, and Enterprise Routing
Juniper's marketing team is seeking an exceptional Sr. Product Marketing Manager with a strong track record of success. This role reports to the Senior Director of Product Marketing. The position requires a solid technical background and excellent communication skills (verbal & written). This individual will develop clear and compelling product and solution messaging and define and execute marketing strategies to effectively land in market. Deliverables include customer-facing materials and sales enablement assets, such as product/solution collateral, presentations, thought leadership content, videos, blogs, whitepapers, media/analyst material, event messaging, and other marketing assets.
We're looking for a senior, high caliber, energetic, and creative product marketing professional who can own, drive and accelerate Juniper's routing infrastructure growth across all customer segments.
This position is based at Juniper Headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA. Exceptional candidates located elsewhere in the U.S. will be considered.
Roles and Responsibilities
Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, field marketing, and corporate communications. You excel at unravelling complex technical concepts and communicating them to various audiences.
Develop and manage compelling product/solution content in close partnership with technical solutions teams, product management, broader product marketing, and field marketing. You enjoy creating high quality, written content in various forms for different audiences.
Own competitive positioning relevant to product and solutions.
Drive the creation and execution of Cloud, Service Provider, and Enterprise segment marketing campaigns.
Develop blog/PoV content as a subject matter expert. Recruit internal and external contributors while ensuring consistent messaging.
Present product/solutions to customers, partners, sales teams, and other internal stakeholders.
Own and monitor market trends and competitive shifts.
Analyze customer and sales data where appropriate to guide strategic marketing plans and provide insights to product management and other stakeholders.
ubject matter expert in Cloud, Service Provider, and Enterprise routing and associated technologies such as switching, virtualization, SDN, and Automation.
Possess strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to execute complex programs successfully.
5+ years of experience in product/technical marketing, product management, or sales enablement in the networking industry.
2+ years in management consulting desired.
Track record of success marketing technology solutions to Cloud & Service Provider industry segments.
Content maven. Enjoy developing compelling, clear, interesting content for Juniper Sales teams and end customers.
Dependable self-starter, taking ownership of and executing projects to drive success for the business, working independently and within a team.
Proven ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must be organized and dependable. Meets deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Strong experience in one or more of the following technology areas: routing, switching, virtualization, SDN, DC networking, WAN networking, automation
Bachelor's degree from top tier school. MBA preferred.
