Position Purpose
Under general management, the Sr. Product Marketing Analyst will help lead product marketing operations, including developing and executing integrated marketing initiatives across a variety of products and channels. Working in collaboration with product groups, internal departments and outside partner agencies, this person will be responsible for creating, managing, evolving and measuring the success of RLI’s product marketing initiatives.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and execute integrated product marketing campaigns and promotions that meet product business objectives and achieve measurable outcomes.
Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team and/or outside partners to develop product marketing materials and assets for a wide variety of channels including digital, video, interactive, social media, email, marketing automation, personalization, direct mail, print and advertising.
Partner with cross-functional departments and product groups to develop new marketing opportunities from concept through launch.
Manage and oversee product e-mail marketing, marketing automation, personalization and social media marketing campaigns.
Track analytics and effectiveness of product marketing initiatives.
Gather and analyze competitor and market research, as necessary. Manage proper use of brand voice and ensure consistency of language, tone and content throughout marketing materials and communications.
Provide support for event marketing and trade show events.
Serve as the marketing content author lead for the company’s customer portal, coordinating with product leaders for timely and accurate updates, using Adobe Experience Manager (Author).
Collaborate with product groups and other departments on a variety of company projects & initiatives
Education & Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, advertising, electronic media, computer science, or a related field and 5-8 years of experience in a similar field or position. In lieu of education, 8 or more years of experience is required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies
Experience developing and implementing B2B and B2C marketing strategy and tactics from planning to execution.
Experience planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns, marketing automation, optimization and personalization strategies to B2B audiences using industry-leading technologies
Experience creating marketing materials and messages across diverse channels that effectively represent the products, services, brands and/or organization to customers and prospects.
Demonstrates strong project management, time management and resource management skills.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
Demonstrates excellent and professional written and verbal skills.
Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong proof reading and editing skills with consistent attention to detail.
Able to apply a strategic perspective to continue improving product marketing work product and processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs as well as industry specific tools (e.g. marketing automation, email marketing tools, and marketing optimization tools).
