The Sr Product Manager develops andapplies Product Management processes in the design/realization of new product offerings. This position works in concert with UserExperience and Research on determining product usability to ensure the product developed meets the needs of the customer throughout the various stages of requirements, design, development, testing and release. This position isresponsible for both product planning and product marketing; gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, roadmap and working closely with UX and engineering, to deliver winning products. This position also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals, defining the product strategy and roadmap, delivering MRDs, PRDs and/or equivalent with prioritized features and corresponding justification, developing the business case, being an expert with respect to the competition, and ensuring that the business requirements are met.
•Ensures that feature areas deliver the expected value to the customer and business objectives to SHC
•Defines and establishes the product vision, goals, supporting business metrics, and success indicators to ensure cross teams understand the business objectives
•Researches and identifies new opportunities to build world-class WOW experiences and products to delight customers and members.
•Uses expertise on customer/partner and competitor strengths and weaknesses to articulate an approach that will differentiate the product, establish a competitive advantage, and appeal to customers
•Applies a strategic understanding of the timing and rationale for design choices for feature areas
•Uses experience and expertise to improve design templates and process to improve operational efficiency
•Creates business requirements and functional specification documents based on intimate knowledge of targeted customers, the product, the market, competitive landscape, and internal dependencies within the company.
•Helps define and influence the long-term product roadmap to ensure SHC continues to stay competitive in the marketplace.
•Conducts business and financial analysis, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting of features
•Works cross-functionally with designers, software development engineers, SHC stakeholders and merchant and other product managers to guarantee a smooth and efficient product delivery.
•Establishes or improves systems to manage product feedback from customers and resolve issues
•Identifies multi-product/service dependency issues and scheduling priorities, and establishes milestone exit criteria
•Collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop and optimize messaging and supporting collateral to enable marketing, selling, and support for feature areas.
•Engages and maintains consistent communication with all relevant parties until issues are resolved
•Bachelor's Level Degree
•5+ years related professional experience
•Ability to works independently and interface with all levels of management negotiating and influencing to build consensus.
•Ability to present programs internally and externally.
•Ability to use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
•Ability to develop and present many varied and unique ideas
