Description: We are looking for a customer focused product manager to manage commercial activities of Illumina’s amplicon portfolio
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Work closely with global sales and marketing teams to develop and implement positioning and messaging, pricing & promotion, sales collateral, training materials and other sales enablement programs to achieve revenue targets
- With deep technical understanding of the portfolio and associated applications, train and support the field organization to ensure accomplishment of the revenue plan
- Provide voice of customer input and lead the development of marketing requirements and priorities, and plans for new product and sustaining development
- Develop marketing strategies, including market sizing, customer segmentation, competitive analysis, product definition, as well as market share and revenue projections; maintain detailed understanding of the competitive and technologylandscape
- Establish and maintain successful relationships with key customers and partners to ensure successful early adoption of new products and continued adoption of on market products
Education background:
- Required: Masters’ degree or equivalent in Genetics, Molecular Biology, or other related science field.
- Desired: MBA and/or PhD
Experience:
- Required – Min. 3 years in Life Sciences; experience in product management or marketing in Genomics or Life Sciences will be a plus
- Must have strong time and project management, presentation and communication skills
- Must have experience building financial, market and pricing models; background in data analytics will be a strong plus
- Experience working in development or management of amplicon or PCR technology in research will be a plus
- Additional experience in technical support in NGS will be a plus
