Sr Product Engineer

Works with customer to design product.

• Review customer drawings and mark up for quotation purposes.
• Negotiate any changes with customer (through Sales) when necessary.
• Upon release of a job, issue set of accurate engineering drawings on a timely basis for tooling and manufacturing.
• Follow up special component design through production with back up design plans.
• Hold meetings to inform various disciplines in the division to review status of special design components.
• Work with plant personnel on day to day production problems.
• Visitation to customer or review application and designs when necessary.
• Take on special projects related to product line and implement them in production on timely basis.
• Always have an open mind to discuss design changes proposed by other disciplines in the division

• B.S. degree in engineering with five years of design and project management experience.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
