Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the talented Sr Process Engineer we hire will participate in the implementation and improvement of cabinet build processes in our beautiful plant located in Culver, Indiana. Among the key responsibilities for the Sr Process Engineer are the following:

  • Enhance the quality of products produced as well as processes used through effective team facilitation and leadership. Lead large and small team initiatives.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions to address customer related issues and/or problems.
  • Continue development of the quality control plan, initiate internal process audits and institute error-proofing techniques throughout our processes.
  • Provide statistical metrics for the manufacturing facility to track quality trends and improvements, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Review and approve tooling requirements, and work with key suppliers to resolve open tooling and equipment issues.
  • This individual must be able to work within cross-functional teams to meet and improve upon established manufacturing performance goals.
  • Lead/advise in process development, product transfer, and process improvement projects to improve product quality, decrease cost, and improve manufacturing efficiencies.
  • Strong data gathering and analysis skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related field required
  • 5+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Solid understanding of statistical process control and process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with root cause trouble shooting activities 
  • Good understanding of manufacturing plant control systems and process automation
  • Cabinet experience is a plus
  • Project management experience essential along with a successful track record of leading projects from inception through completion
  • Experience in the safety and ergonomic side of process improvement a plus
  • Strong influence leadership skills essential
  • Must possess a “factory floor” presence and a proven ability to train, mentor and problem-solve with front line employees
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and analytical skills also essential
