Function Overview

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Process Engineer to work in the Assembly area in the Clyde, OH manufacturing plant. This position will utilize World Class Manufacturing (WCM) tools to support process improvements in Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), manpower allocation, scrap, and plant spend and new product launches at the Clyde facility delivering vertical startup in accordance with business plans.

Job Responsibilities

● Utilize WCM tools to root cause and implement countermeasures for:

  • OEE loss, manpower loss, scrap, and maintenance and materials
  • Top Safety issues in the Assembly Area
  • Support Professional Maintenance from a technical machine/process perspective
  • Develop and provide direction on maintenance frequency and basic condition of machines
  • Quality losses due to process and machine issues
  • Line layout adjustment for better workplace organization and logistics
  • Leadership and mentoring of others in regard to assembly line process and equipment
  • Development of best practices and standards for new equipment
  • Continuous improvement initiatives to reduce environmental impact by energy reduction for example
  • Collaborative team member working with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Engineering to deliver world class product and savings

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years of work experience in assembly line process and equipment

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field
  • Prior experience with World Class Manufacturing
  • Prior experience working in a multi department organization to deliver results in a manufacturing setting
  • Prior experience using CAD software to design components
  • Prior experience using Autocad for line layouts and management
  • Prior experience managing cost saving projects in manufacturing delivering new equipment and processes.
