Northrop Grumman is seeking a motivated professional to join our team as a Sr. Principal Military Trainer.
The location of this position is at Fort Hood, TX.
The Sr. Principal Military Trainer - Corps Planner will review, interpret and implement directives from higher Headquarters. Coordinate such directives with staff sections and units concerned. Serves as the staff advisor and consultant to the III Corps G3 and G3 PLEX on training readiness, capabilities requirements and policy matters relative to all aspects of home station training for all III Corps units and non-III Corps units at Fort Hood. Develops and articulates home station training plans to support the Command's operational requirements and prioritizes training resources. Develops measures of effectiveness and key indicators to assess all III Corps home station training programs, and make recommendations on concepts to obtain required effects. Analyzes and evaluates the current and long-range training requirements and develops courses of action to ensure resources and assets are available to support attached or assigned FORSCOM units. Maintains a working knowledge of Army, FORSCOM and TRADOC training development programs and policies to determine how these may impact home station training requirements.Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years of military experience or Master's Degree with 8 years' experience
- US Army Command and General Staff Officer Course, or MEL 4 equivalent Intermediate Level Education (ILE)
- Familiar with Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC)
- Familiar with current Army and Joint doctrine
- Proficient with MS Office suite of software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access)
- Must currently possess an active DoD Secret Clearance
- Brigade or higher staff officer experience
- Subject Matter Expert using the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC)
- Former Division or Corps Planner
- Former Observer Coach/Trainer Experience at any Combat Training Center
Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to basepay.
