You will work with our marketing counterparts to develop recommendations for executive leadership anchored on financial, customer, and marketing insights. Specifically, you will develop pricing strategies for MetroPCS, the leading prepaid wireless brand. MetroPCS, which is owned and operated by T-Mobile, is a growing dynamic company with a fast-paced work environment in a competitive industry. As a pricing manager, you will develop business models for pricing and work with our Marketing partners to develop product strategies. Role requires a strong analytical background with the ability to solve complex business problems. Must be able to leverage data insights to frame analytically driven conclusions and be comfortable working with analytical tools to solve real business challenges. Must be a self-starter with sound business judgement with the ability to influence business outcomes.

  • Set pricing strategies for MetroPCS, the #1 prepaid wireless brand
  • Build strategic frameworks for pricing strategies related to rate plans, devices, promotions, and new product offerings
  • Develop and leverage analytical insights to develop data supported recommendations
  • Understand data tools, sources, and test hypotheses through comprehensive quantitative models, and identify market opportunities in a relentless pursuit to improve T-Mobile’s value proposition and market competitiveness
  • Develop new products and own game-changing marketing initiatives, influence stakeholders/leadership through fact based analyses, and drive change
  • Construct and lead executive level presentations to communicate complex analytical findings in a clear, concise, and decision impacting manner
  • Develop and manage positive client relationships in a collaborative team effort



•10+ years of related work experience, including, but not limited to, financial modeling and developing/influencing corporate strategy

  • BS, MS, or PhD in finance, economics, engineering, operations research, applied math, or related field required
  • MBA or equivalent work experience required
  • Work or academic experience focused on financial modeling, business analytics, business strategy, engineering, operations research, math and/or related fields
  • Expert excel and power point user; experience with statistical computing software such as SAS, R, or SPSS a plus
  • Familiar with at least one structured programming language (e.g. SQL, C, Java, etc)
